General Policies
We usually will ship In-Stock merchandise within 1 to 3 days from date of order except at peak or "rush" times of the year. If we run out of something, we will backorder the item and ship it as soon as it is available to us. There is no additional charge to ship backorders (unless this was a discounted/actual shipping order). We offer discounts on regular priced yarns and fibers (only) as follows [they may affect your actual shipping charge]:
PLEASE NOTE: ALL SHIPPING CHARGES SHOWN ARE FOR THE USA LOWER 48 STATES (THIS INCLUDES ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS). WE DO SHIP WORLD-WIDE (that includes APO's and FPO's that due to size and/or weight makes it too costly for us to ship through the USPS - yes we will quote you an APO/FPO shipping charge and you can accept or refuse the shipping quote) and we will email you shipping options/prices and allow you to make the choice. In no case is worldwide shipping less than shipping within the USA. You can 'guesstimate' international shipping by going clicking on: Postal Shipping Estimate Select country, package shape, and estimated weight (WITH packaging), click on continue, click on dot at the beginning of your choice, then click on add extra services, click on 'insurance' and enter the value of your order and click on 'add'. Return Policies
Unused and unassembled merchandise in its original packaging can be returned for 30 days from the date of sale for a Full Refund less shipping - If you received free shipping because of the dollar value of the order, we will deduct actual shipping charges from any credit issued. If you received free shipping on your order, and you return part of the order and what you keep no longer qualifies for free shipping, we will deduct the actual shipping charges for the portion you return and we will deduct from your credit the amount the shipping you would normally have been charged for what you did not return. If you received a volume discount on anything and you return part of that order and what's left no longer qualifies for that discount, that will be deduced from and credit also. Exchanges/returns after 30 days will be subject to a 20% handling charge. No returns on looms, spinning wheels, any special ordered items, goods not in their original packaging, or other common-sense rules. No returns on books, dvds or videos - if one is defective we will exchange it for the same format and title only. No return on sale items If you would like to make a return, please contact us before sending anything back: Unauthorized returns - and returns without receipts - will be subject to a minimum of 20% restocking. . . if we have to ship unauthorized material back to you, it will be at your expense.

About Us
Solvang's Village Spinning & Weaving Shop was started in 1992 out of a desire to simplify our lives and provide the best possible service and products -- something we find lacking in much of today's world. Whether you are looking for a new spinning wheel, loom or some perle cotton yarn or maybe a new tatting book, or maybe some fiber for spinning on felting to add to your stash, check our website or give us a call. We carry much more than we can possibly list here, so... we have several different print catalogs - you can download a pdf file from this website for many of them [bottom of each page]. As things change, sometimes too quickly, prices in our printed catalog may not always be completely up to date. Come watch us grow!!! We have added the shop next to us to our space [most for storage but we can take you in there if you are in the market for a loom or wheel]. . . we now have more than twice the space. At the time of this writing, we had 19 spinning wheels assembled for you to see and choose from (and another 50 plus in boxes ready for you to take home or for us to ship to you).
